Year 10 students visited the offices of KPMG today and took part in a workshop as part of National numeracy day. After an ice breaker students heard from a partner at KPMG and his journey to joining the company and what his role entails. Students then worked in groups after learning about tax and what it’s spent on. They had to produce a pitch to their peers on why their chosen area should receive additional funding. We heard from another employee who works in Cyber security and students had an opportunity to discuss her role in further detail. A trip to Canary Wharf in the sunshine was a fantastic treat for all involved. Shabbat Shalom.
