Today we were delighted to welcome Mr Wes Streeting, MP for Ilford North and Secretary of State for health and social care.

Mr Streeting began his visit by meeting with school leaders, governors, the United Synagogue and representatives from the local Jewish community. He then gave a keynote speech to students in years 9, 10 and 13 where he talked about his personal journey into politics, his role as an MP and as a member of the Government and local issues. Mr Streeting then met with a group of student leaders, including year 13 head students.

We definitely have some future politicians among our students!
