Today we celebrated the festival of Purim which commemorates the miraculous story of the Persian Jewish community’s escape from persecution in the Biblical book of Esther. Students and staff had a lot of fun celebrating!
Thank you to Rabbi Goodwin, Rabbi Akiva and Rabbi Brandman for coming in to read the Megillah, JLGB who ran fantastic and fun activities in the classrooms and the team who ran the silent disco which was a wonderful surprise for students. A big thank you to the farm shop, Tesco, food services, Kosher Kingdom and our students for donating items for our mishloach manot which have been distributed to several care homes across Redbridge.
Happy Purim!
