Trips and Enrichment Opportunities
All students will take part in a set of core experiences, linked to the following areas of ‘cultural capital’ development:
- STEM
- Performing Arts/Music/Media
- Art and Design
- Interfaith/Jewish studies
- Sport/Physical activities
- Humanities
- MFL/Cultural Exchanges
We also offer a number of residential trips within the UK and abroad. These are not covered in the co-curricular package, but will be advertised in good time, enabling families to save and pay in instalments. Families receiving pupil premium allowance will qualify for a discounted rate on all residential trips.
Within each area, students will be directed towards a pathway best suited to their personal skill-set and often with close links to their potential KS4 and KS5 subject choices.
Parents will be informed of the trip pathway through a termly letter, detailing all trips your child will have the opportunity to attend. These will also be viewable on our school social media platforms and publicised via departments.
Every student will be given a personal ‘passport to the future.’ This document will record each trip with a ‘stamp’ and offer space for reflection, feedback and comments. We will keep the passports safely so that they form a permanent record of valuable experiences to cherish and use in the future.
