The rules in relation to clothing worn by sixth form students in Years 12 & 13 are more relaxed in keeping with their age and status as young people approaching adulthood. Although permitted to choose their own clothing, sixth form students are required to wear business attire suitable for an office/work environment, and to follow the rules set out below when doing so.
Female students
Blouse/Shirt | Smart short or long sleeved. Sleeveless shirts/blouses and polo top are not permitted. Shoulders must be covered at all times and no crop tops. |
Jacket/Blazer Optional | Jacket, to wear with trousers or skirt, suitable for business attire. |
Cardigan/Jumper Optional | V-neck, roll neck or crew (round) neck. No polo neck. No logos permitted. |
Skirt | Skirt must be appropriate length (no shorter than the top of the knee). No leather or denim skirts. Skirts made from stretchy/elastic material are not permitted |
Trousers | Trousers, to be worn suitable for business attire. Jeans, jeggings, leggings are not permitted. |
Dress | Conservative dresses, suitable for business attire, of an appropriate length |
Tights | Plain black, grey, navy or tan |
Socks | Socks are not allowed, unless knee high, grey, navy, black or tan, and under trousers. Logo socks are not permitted. |
Shoes | Dark low-heeled shoes or formal Chelsea boots (low heel). Other boots/ trainers/plimsolls or other type of footwear are not allowed. |
Male students
Shirt | Smart short or long sleeved with buttons |
Jacket/Blazer Optional | Jacket, to wear with trousers , suitable for business attire. |
Tie | KKSHS Sixth form- compulsory |
Cardigan/Jumper Optional | V-neck, crew (round) neck or half zip. No polo neck. KKSHS tie must be on show. No logos permitted. |
Trousers | navy blue, black or grey suit trousers, to be worn suitable for business attire. Jeans are not permitted. |
Socks | Plain black, grey or navy. |
Shoes | Dark shoes. Boots, trainers/plimsolls or other type of footwear are not allowed. |
Kippah | All boys must have their heads covered |
All students
Outdoor coat Optional | Coats should be dark in colour, practical and suitable for school use. Denim, leather, suede or fur/fake fur and logos are not allowed. |
ID Badges | ID badges must be worn around the neck with the lanyard and ID badge visible at all times |
Hoodies/sweatshirts | Hoodies and sweatshirts are not permitted onsite at anytime |
