Design Technology

Our Design Technology curriculum is designed to equip future designers to be the change-makers of tomorrow. They think outside the box to research, design and make innovative solutions to everyday problems and benefit their local and global communities.

Students are engaged through opportunities to collaborative, task risks and problem solve. The curriculum is fully inclusive and enables all learners to showcase their designs. Learning is sequenced to build core skills at key stage 3 so that students have the tools and confidence to produce exciting designs, should they go on to select DT for their GCSE and A-Level options.
