Geography
Geographers at King Solomon High School should acquire the skills and knowledge in line with the National Curriculum which will enable them to understand their place in the world at both a local and global scale.
Students are encouraged to recap, recall and build on prior knowledge using a range of universal learning activities that make learning in Geography accessible to all. This will inspire them to develop into informed Twenty-First Century global citizens who can contribute positively to their local community. Geographers should gain a sense of responsibility in understanding how their actions on a local scale can have global impacts.
Students are engaged through our accessible enquiry-based curriculum, designed to make them critical thinkers capable of making informed judgements on local and global issues. Throughout their academic journey, students will be enriched through a range of cultural and collaborative opportunities which will inspire their curiosity of the world.
