At King Solomon, we are first and foremost, a Kehila; a vibrant community of learners for whom Jewish teachings and values permeate every aspect of school life. The rhythm of the Jewish year punctuates our days and weeks and offers countless opportunities to grow and enhance the quality of our lives. British values of tolerance and respect are woven seamlessly into the mix and all members of our diverse student cohort can strive towards becoming good citizens of the future.
Jewish life is inextricably bound up with an awareness of others. Tzedakah (charity) and chessed (acts of loving kindness) are instilled in our students from day one, by empowering them to make a difference. Student charity representatives drive the fundraising efforts for our three school charities. Volunteering is built into school life through the haderech school leadership programme; students are active in Yoni Jesner and VInspired award programmes, DofE and are regularly recommended for Jack Petchey community awards,
