We were honoured to share the incredible story of Holocaust survivor Lady Zahava Kohn. Joined by her daughter Hephzibah, sharing original items from the holocaust including the bowls they ate from, letters sent to relatives; they told the incredible story of survival, stories from Bergen Belsen the concentration camp she was sent to along with her parents, her rehabilitation and being reunited with her brother after five years apart.
We were joined by sixth form students from Wanstead, Beal, Trinity and Ilford County High, Valentine, Woodford County High who worked in groups discussing several topics in relation to the Holocaust. They asked fantastic questions and it was a privilege for KS to host this event once again.
