King Solomon students celebrated Black History Month by watching a fantastic assembly presented by students who wanted to share their family history with each other. We had representatives from many African countries and Caribbean islands. We got to hear their traditional music, enjoy dances and for some, their traditional clothing.
We also got to watch a video from Mr Phaladi who is a teacher in our Science dept. He talked about the Lemba tribe he grew up in and how he was able to follow his religion, Judaism even though he was part of a minority group.
Well done to everyone who took part. Shabbat shalom.
